THINGS TO AND NOT TO PACK

Things that should stay with your old house:

• Extra paint, flooring, carpet etc. that was matched to the old house
• Keys, garage door openers, and security system documents and information for your old house
• Warranties, parts, and instructions for appliances that will be staying with the old house (for example the microwave dish for a built in microwave or combinations to built in safes)
• Borrowed materials (library books, neighbor’s Tupperware, rented videos)

Things you should take with you on your travel:

• Checkbook
• Car Keys
• Clothes you will need as you travel
• ID such as passport and driver’s license
• Address Book/Planner
• Baby needs (diaper bag, formula, toys)
• Pet needs if your pet is traveling with you (food, leash, carrier, cat litter)
• Camera

Things you should carry personally:

• Jewelry
• Important Tax Papers
• Keys to your possessions that are moving in our trucks (for example locked luggage, locked filing cabinets, or grandfather clocks)

Things that should not be moved. In order to protect your goods, and ensure that everything arrives safely and securely, we do not transport items that are flammable, corrosive, or explosive. Examples of such items are:

• Loaded weapons, fireworks, and explosives
• Bleach
• Matches
• Chemistry sets
• Motor oil
• Rubbing Alcohol
• Weed Killer
• Scuba Tanks
• Lighter Fluid
• Paint (non-water based)
• Poisons (Rat poison etc.)
• Cleaning solvents
• Pool Chemicals
• Perishables (such as food)
